TriDosha launches new non-touch Spa Guided Meditation Treatment

Ayurvedic wellbeing brand TriDosha has launched a new non-touch guided meditation treatment exclusively for spas. The new experience has been designed to help clients relax, discover some basic self-care techniques, restore mind and body and stimulate the immune system all through the power of the mind and deep relaxation.

Developed as a bespoke offering by TriDosha founder and Meditation Teacher Sunita Passi alongside a team of Spa Managers, therapists will be able to individualise the experience to help clients achieve reduced stress, support emotional balance and increase energy.

The five step experience begins with a connect phase where clients are guided on how to be 100% present, and surrender their mind and body. The second phase involves whole body movements to stimulate the release of blocked stagnant energy, to loosen tense muscles and connect with the body.

This is followed by salt foot baths to cleanse energy channels throughout the entire body. Mapped out on the sole of the foot to stimulate circulation and boost immune health, Marma Therapy is believed to clear energy (prana) that stagnates in Marma points. Freeing this energy boosts the function of all organs and promotes healing.

Clients will then be guided through deep belly breathing exercises to activate the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS), slow the heart rate, reduce blood pressure and restore balance, before a Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) phase aimed at connecting individuals with tension and the body's response, to understand how to let it go in a controlled manner. This process is believed to activate the production of opiates and promote optimal immune function.

Sunita said: “We expect this period immediately post lockdown, will be a time when people think of how they can improve their wellbeing. By offering this new non-touch spa treatment, we are offering the chance to unplug from the world and enjoy natural processes of healing within a meditative experience following Government guidelines.”

Group therapist training is now available as a three day twelve hour online programme. For training rates and more information about TriDosha, visit www.tri-dosha.co.uk
