Turkish architects Project Design Group have announced that the KentPlus Yalova Wellness Spa Resort in Turkey will open at the end of this year.
Located in the region of Yalova, the resort will be home to a five-star spa centre providing thermal water healing, detoxes, physiotherapy and rehabilitation services.
The project also includes three five-star thermal hotels with more than 1,300 bedrooms and 1,000 apartments, plus open-air swimming pools, Turkish baths, a sports centre, a massage salon and a beauty centre.
The resort has a focus on nature and offers numerous green spaces, a 1,000sq m pond area and a specially designed sandy beach, complete with Beach Hammam.
In a statement, Project Design Group said: “The unique natural character of the site forms the basis of the project concept. Our main aim is that the buildings should be designed to become partially lost in this natural atmosphere and, by harmonising with the topography, spread and melt into the landscape.”
