The Spa at the Midland in Manchester and Titanic Spa in West Yorkshire both won sought-after accolades in the 2019 World Luxury Spa Awards.
The Spa at the Midland was named Best Luxury Urban Escape while Titanic Spa came home with five inaugural awards from this year’s ceremony.
The World Luxury Spa Awards aims to recognise establishments for world-class service excellence. Winners are selected by public vote online. The awards ceremony was held in The State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia and in front of more than 200 guests.

Titanic Spa, the UK’s first eco-spa set within a restored textile mill nestled in Linthwaite valley, achieved the following accolades:
- Best Luxury Destination Spa in Northern Europe
- Best Luxury Day Spa in Europe
- Best Luxury Spa Retreat
- Best Luxury Global Eco Spa.
The award-winning spa’s Director of Operations, Amy Burton, was also crowned Best Spa Manager in Europe. She says: ‘ To be recognised for our sustainable practice, excellent customer service and state-of-the-art facilities makes all of the hard work worth it.
