Ramside Hall is a luxury four-star hotel, golf & spa resort located in County Durham. The largest privately-owned luxury hotel in the Northeast of England, Ramside Hall has built its reputation by offering good value and a personal touch.
Ramside was formally a country house and transformed into a hotel in 1963. The hotel offers luxury accommodation and a whole host of restaurants all under one roof. Guests can choose to stay in a variety of rooms, from classic to deluxe as well as junior and full suites, including the acclaimed Celebration Suite with its free-standing copper bath. For those wanting something a little different, there are also a selection of luxury treehouses that can make your spa break even more special.
The Spa at Ramside is award-winning, and boasts a sophisticated thermal suite, five pools (including one of the UK’s largest hydrotherapy pools), an outdoor infinity pool, and a state-of-the art gym.
From January 2023, the Spa at Ramside will introduce to its treatment menu a variety of VOYA treatments and rituals. VOYA treatments are inspired by the ancient Irish tradition of seaweed bathing and harness the natural benefits of hand-harvested seaweed. Seaweed naturally absorbs nourishment from the sea, and is made up of 800 essential minerals, vitamins, and other bioactive compounds, making it perfect for any wellbeing enhancing treatment.
Spa guests will be able to enjoy VOYA full body treatments, such as the VOYA Nourishing Cocoon Ritual, as well as focussed treatments like the Reflex Renew Foot Massage and Tranquil Indian Scalp massage. The Spa at Ramside will also offer a ‘Voyage to Ramside’ Signature Massage, a journey to total relaxation easing away muscle tension with massage that replicates the movement of the sea. Combining both gentle and stimulating movements and stretches, this is the ultimate luxury treatment to relieve aches and pains tailored to your individual needs. Choose from a selection of VOYA oils such as Angelicus Serratus to uplift, Mindful Moments to relax, or Serenergise to help soothe muscle aches.
