Wellness Education features at Spa Life 2016

As our Industry's interest in all things wellness continues to grow, the topic will be covered in extensive detail at the Spa Life 2016 Conference with a dedicated Special Interest Track.

Three separate breakout sessions will include presentations from a number of leading experts on this topic, each covering a different aspects of wellness.

Ann-Marie Aguillar, from leading development firm ARUP, will be discussing 'Wellness in the Built Evironment' and how operators can make simple changes to the fabric of their buildings to realise some simple benefits for employees.

Also, for spas developing and extending their facilities, there are a myriad of initiatives for architects & designers now to consider to improve the wellness of your environment for the benefit of all users.


Kim Johnson and Philip Jones
, Founders of Wellness London point out how wellness is increasingly becoming an issue for new talent.

They assert that the expectations of prospective employees, when considering new job roles now include employee wellness programmes and will raise some of the pertinent reasons for addressing the wellness of your employees.


Michelle Hammond
, Founder of SpaBusinessSchool, has been leading the charge in the UK spa sector to raise the awareness of the positive benefits that spa treatments can deliver for various health conditions, including cancer.

In this session Michelle draws together research from some of the country's leading physicians to show the potential impact that the wellness movement (including spa services) can have on the top 6 global health conditions and the opportunities that this represents for our sector.
