The 2019 World Spa & Wellness Convention will feature ‘situation rooms’, where delegates can get together to solve common business challenges. This is the first time the WSW Convention has offered such a service.
The 2019 Convention, which will take place from 24-25 February at London’s ExCeL, is a global networking event for senior spa management. The situation rooms will each be hosted by a senior spa director, who will be joined by spa professionals from a range of levels. Six groups of delegates will meet up during the convention, to discuss solutions to two key challenges – ramping up a successful opening or managing a strategic turnaround.
The groups will then consolidate their ideas before presenting a business plan for the opening or turnaround, sharing best practices based on industry benchmarks and personal experience.
Meanwhile, dates for the 2019 World Spa & Wellness Asia convention have been announced. The second Asian event will take place in Thailand from May 6–7 at the at resort hotel JW Marriot Phuket.
