The 2020 World Spa & Wellness London convention will move from its traditional February slot to March 29 and 30.
Running alongside Professional Beauty, which has also been moved to later in the year, the Convention will once again take place at London’s ExCeL.
The date change comes after attendees expressed a wish for future events to avoid UK school half term holiday dates and steer clear of other industry trade events visitors would like to attend.
World Spa & Wellness managing director, Mark Moloney, says: “Our aim is to never stand still, to always take the industry forward and expand the market for professional treatments.”
This year’s convention saw over 400 delegates with over 29,000 visitors to Professional Beauty overall. Booking for World Spa & Wellness Asia, which will take place in Thailand on May 13–14, is now open. Topics on the agenda will include treating cancer patients and others with disability in spas, how to attract celebrity endorsement and what investors are looking for when it comes to spa and wellness investments.
